Weather and snow conditions proved ideal for yet another week of racing in the Peak Projects Nordic Race Series at the Snow Farm this week. Adding a bit of international flare to the event, the men’s overall podium was swept this week by a group of American skiers, led by Bolder Nordic Sport’s Nathan Schultz, and followed closely by Pavel Sotskov (Salomon/Vermont Academy). Making it a family affair, Alexei Sotskov, New Zealand’s nordic skiing Olympic coach, stood upon the podium in third place.

On the women’s side, New Zealand biathlete Sarah Murphy skied away from her competitors in the final heat, claiming this week’s title over second place skier Emily Deacon, and third place, Briar Alexander.

Racing continues Sunday, 1 August, with the 2/5/7.5 Classical events.
